Feng Shui Partnerships

Southwest Life Aspiration

Feng Shui and Partnerships

The partnerships and marriage life aspiration resides in the southwest area of the home or property. The element is earth, the colors are tan, yellows, beige and browns with golden undertones.

In Chinese cosmology, the earth element of the southwest is associated with seasonal change-the 18 days between each season.

This area of the home is associated with the mother, matriarch, maternal female and wife. It is the southwest earth that is the counterpart of heaven.

The essence of the feminine earth is considered both nurturing and an inexhaustible container of creative energy.

The marriage and partnerships aspiration is the area that supports relationships, it is characterized by unions.

Focusing on this area fosters the connection between the two. Any object of art that represents unions and partnerships will enhance this area, while lone, contemplative figures will not be suitable. Pay close attention to using pairs of things rather than odd numbers in this area.

Wedding as well as current photographs of you and your partner are best placed in the southwest.

Artwork that depicts vast, fertile and solid landscapes and placing objects of art made of earthen materials will also enhance this area of the home.

For the southwest partnership area focus on using the colors tan, yellow, beige and browns with golden undertones. Accents of red will also enhance the earth element of this life area.
