Feng Shui Exterior

Your home's feng shui exterior can initially be measured in two ways:

1. The home should not be overpowered or overshadowed by surrounding structures such as taller houses or buildings in a suburban or urban setting. This also includes tall trees and poles. In a rural setting the land forms in close proximity to the home should not dwarf and overpower the house.

2. Optimum exterior feng shui makes the entrance and front door the main focal point as you approach the house.

When a home is diminished by a permanent exterior structure, it can be a challenge to correct and the advice of a professional feng shui consultant may be necessary.

The solution in cases where there is an overpowering structure or land form in close proximity to your home is to counter balance its effect.

Your aim will be to strengthen your home's exterior by raising the profile of your house. Through the use of color, landscaping or other exterior modifications you can intentionally create a distinctive foot print for your home. Houses that are dwarfed by the surroundings become invisible thereby weakening the feng shui.

One way to create more visibility for your home or business is to use a telescoping flag. Uncommon Flags may be the solution for you.

In most cases your home's surroundings are permanent and hopefully the setting supports your home. You can understand how important it is know what feng shui factors contribute to a homes strength, balance and harmony when you are selecting a home or property.
